Product Information
Brad Nails are fine 18 gauge nails used for light trim, picture frame backing, lightweight panels and small craft woodwork. Their slim body and very small head leave a tiny hole that is almost invisible after installation, making them useful for clean decorative wood finishing.
Compared with 15-16 gauge finish nails, 18 ga brad nails are finer and better suited to thin trim, delicate molding, light panels and small woodworking pieces where a larger nail may split the material or leave a more visible mark.
Brad Nails are not structural nails and should not be used for framing, load-bearing timber connections, concrete or metal fastening. A Brad Nailer is the recommended tool. Very small quantities can be installed by hand with care, but manual driving is slow and can bend the nail or mark delicate surfaces.
